Water !!

Why should we drink water ?
Water accumulates around 70% of our body weight.Other than that, there are several benefits which we may not realize them !

1. Stay Slimmer With Water
Water revs up metabolism and helps you feel full.
Replace calorie-laden beverages with water, and drink a glass before meals to help you feel fuller.
Drinking more water also helps amp up metabolism - especially if your glass is icy cold. Your body must work to warm the water up, burning a few extra calories in the process.

2. Water Boosts Your Energy
Water helps the blood transport oxygen and other essential nutrients to your cells.
If you’re getting enough water, your heart also doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood throughout your body.

3. Lower Stress With Water
85% of your brain tissue is water. If you’re dehydrated, both your body and your mind will be stressed.

4. Build Muscle Tone With Water
Drinking water helps prevent muscle cramping and lubricates joints in the body.

5. Nourish Your Skin
Fine lines and wrinkles are deeper when you’re dehydrated. Water is nature’s own beauty cream.

6. Stay Regular With Water
Water helps dissolve waste particles and passes them smoothly through your digestive tract.

7. Water Reduces Kidney Stones
Water dilutes the salts and minerals in your urine that form the solid crystals known as kidney stones.

Nutritionists recommend we follow the "8x8 rule."

Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day.

Let's start drinking WATER !!

Some comments for some commercial airlines(by my experiences!)

Well,I had taken some commercial airlines before. There are some comments which I would like to share here !

First of all,Turkish airlines !! It's just my opinion !
I took Turkish airlines many times before. I really had a very bad experience with this airline !

I am a student.I take my laptop with me when I study in overseas. This airline wanted to charge me for my laptop bag and said that my ticket was not business class so they have the right to charge me for my laptop bag !! My responce on that time was like "WTF" ! I took so many airlines before, for example Austrian airlines,Singapore airlines,Lufthansa,MAS,KLM and many more, they NEVER charge me for my laptop bag ! That was definitely the first and the last time I have heard about this nonsense rule !! I had a fight with them, and I said that I will file a complaint to the main office in Istanbul, and they threatened me and said,"If you want to file a complain on me,now I will file a complain on you".That was the worst experience I had with an airline !!
After this "amazing" experience,I swear that I will NEVER ever take this stupid airline again !

There are some good experiences with other airlines too.For example, with Lufthansa and Austrian airlines. We have to fill in forms when we are about to land in the countries which we need visa and they will provide us a free pen and we can take it for free. If you feel cold, you can asked a free blanket from them even if it is a short journey. The services that they provide onboard are nice too.

If you would like to share some experiences with me,please leave a comment here !!

Lets start exercising and stop finding excuses !

You know you should be exercising. We've all heard that physically active people are healthier. They're less likely to develop heart disease, diabetes, and some cancer, they sleep better, and they feel happier and more energetic. Of course, a fit body looks better, too.

There are so many excuses that people will find to persuade themselves in doing exercises.Well,I will list out some.

1."I Don't Have Time."
Try making small lifestyle changes that help you move more: take the stairs instead of the escalator, don't drive when you can walk, and get a pedometer and try to increase the number of steps you take throughout the day.

2."I'm Too Tired."
You can work out in the middle or end of the day herself, recommends doing it whenever you feel best.

3."I Don't Get a Break From the Kids."
"Take the kids with you!" It's just the simplest way! While playing with your kids, you are doing exercise as well !

4."I Just Don't Like to Move."
You can work out indoors, where it's air conditioned. You can swim so you won't notice any perspiration. Or, try a low-sweat activity like yoga. It's not necessary to do the heavy exercise, you can do whatever exercise which you feel comfortable with.

5."I Always End up Quitting."
Set small, attainable goals. Then you're more likely to feel like a success, not a failure. For example, start with 5-10mins exercise, then proceed to 10-15mins in a month and further.

6."Exercise Is Boring."
First, find an activity you love.Think about outdoor activities like inline skating,or gardening.Join a sports league.Or,if you love music, try dancing.

Stop finding excuses and start working to keep your body healthy !!

Food for dieters !

Well, many people wish to loss weight but they can't resist the yummy food around them...
We should make out which types of food are good for our health !

1.Snacks -- When we hear about this term,we will immediately categorize them into Junk food.Well, there are some Calorie-Controlled Snacks.Just look for products that offer some nutritious benefits, such as ones that contain less than 3 grams fat, less than 140 milligrams sodium, 15 grams or less sugar, and are made from whole grain with about 2 to 3 grams fiber and about 7 grams protein.

2.Fast Food -- McD,KFC,Subway, etc.Try to pick those fast food which contain calories between 250-320calories,for example McD salads with grilled chicken.

3.Low-Fat and Fat-Free Dairy Products -- Milk, yogurt (solid, frozen, and drinkable), cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese are available in lower-fat varieties that offer both healthy nutrients and great taste.

4.Breakfast Cereals -- Start your day,the healthy way with a bowl of whole-grain cereal (top it with fruit and low-fat dairy for extra nutrition). Look for cereals with fiber and protein and not too much sugar !

5.Fruits -- They satisfy your sweet tooth and are loaded with disease-fighting nutrients, yet are low in calories.

6.Vegetables -- Roast sweet potatoes for a side dish that needs no topping other than a little salt and pepper.Canned vegetables are another option if you have no time to wash and buy the fresh veggies...

Anti-aging Food !

Who don't wanna stay young ? Who want wrinkles on their smooth skin ? Who wanna wake up and find themselves with white hairs ?

Well, certainly, all the answers for the questions mentioned above are "NO" !!

That's why we should take more anti-aging food since we can't turn back the time.

1. Fill your plates with plenty of fruits and vegetables.

2. Proteins. For example, skinless chicken and turkey breast, lean beef and pork, eggs, beans, and seafood. And don't forget protein-rich dairy: Minerals (primarily calcium, phosphorus, and potassium) in fat-free milk and yogurt as well as low-fat cheeses help to keep blood pressure healthy, pudge in check, and bones strong.

3. Omega-3-Rich Fish, yummy !! But if you are a vegetarian, you can consume omega-3s from plant sources, like walnuts and flaxseed, too.

4. whole wheat, oats, and brown rice, and the bread, cereal, and other edibles made from them.

5. Exercise ! Maintains muscle mass, boosts metabolism, and keeps your heart and lungs primed and many more !

Types of exercise !

well,we had discussed about the diet, and I had mentioned a little bit about exercise...
we will continue this topic !
there are some easy exercises which we can perform everyday and we don't have to spend much time on them !

1. endurance activity. Be sure to get at least 30 minutes of activity that makes you breathe harder on most or all days of the week.

2. Keep using your muscles. When muscles aren't used, they waste away at any age.
What does it mean ? It means we have to exercise our leg muscles by walking, instead of taking lift.

3. Do things to help your balance. Is it too hard ? The answer is "No". Eg. Stand up from sitting in a chair without using your hands or arms. It's easy...

4. Stretch ! Stretching can help keep you flexible. You will be able to move more freely. Stretch when your muscles are warmed up. Never stretch so far that it hurts.

Apart of encouraging people to exercise,we must think about the safety too !
Here are some safety tips which we must be know !

1. We must start slowly. Little by little build up your activities, for example, start with 10mins and then prolong to 20mins after 2-3weeks.

2. Use safety equipment to keep you from getting hurt. "Prevention is better than cure". For example, when you are cycling, use helmet to prevent trauma.

3. Always warm up your muscles before you stretch. NEVER start any exercises without warming up !!

4. Be sure to drink plenty when you are doing activities that make you sweat. Fluid is too important to our body !

Let's start exercising and keep our body healthy !! ;)
